Our expertise: air dehumidification
The origins and mission of Dessica
Dessica was founded in 1999 by experts in the field of dehumidification. Since its creation, the company has distinguished itself through its ability to provide cutting-edge technical solutions and expert guidance. Dessica excels in finding complex solutions and knows how to adapt to the specific requirements of its customers, whether in terms of space, deadlines, energy or high-performance constraints. Its mission is to meet the most demanding challenges by offering innovative and bespoke solutions.
Our expertise for your dehumidification project
At Dessica, we offer comprehensive support to our customers, both before and after signing a contract. It starts with an in-depth study of each customer’s specific needs. We then design a bespoke solution and manufacture the required equipment, whether standardised or customised. We also offer temporary hire solutions if necessary. After manufacturing, we commission the equipment, and our commitment goes even further: we also offer comprehensive after-sales service, equipment maintenance and spare parts sales to ensure optimal and long-lasting performance.
With its extensive expertise in air dehumidification, DESSICA provides industrial dehumidifiers ranging from simple standard units to the most advanced bespoke systems. These solutions make it possible to keep humidity levels below 1%.
Our areas of expertise, our customers, our product applications
At Dessica, our mission is to provide manufacturers with solutions to eliminate excess moisture, which is harmful to production, drying, packaging and preservation processes. We work exclusively with professionals in a variety of applications: milk powder manufacturing, effervescent tablets manufacturing (and more generally all food and pharmaceutical powders), electronic components such as batteries for electric vehicles, and in controlled atmosphere laboratories. Our solutions maintain an optimal environment, preventing metal corrosion and ensuring controlled humidity levels.

Solutions offered by Dessica: industrial dehumidifiers
Condensation dehumidification
Condensation dehumidification involves cooling the air down to its dew point, which allows the humidity to turn into liquid water. It is collected in a condensate tray or drained via a pipe to the wastewater system. The operating range for condensation dehumidifiers is between +7°C and +35°C, with relative humidity between 35 to 95%.
Adsorption dehumidification with a desiccant wheel
Adsorption dehumidification is our favourite method, using a silica gel desiccant wheel. Silica gel is a highly adsorbent material. Air passes through the wheel, where moisture is captured. For continuous efficiency, the humid air is heated and expelled outside, which allows the desiccant wheel to regenerate and ensures optimal performance. Dehumidification with a desiccant wheel reduces absolute humidity while increasing the air temperature.
Adsorption air dryers are used to achieve low relative humidity (below 30%) at low temperatures. They are designed to treat air in environments ranging from -15°C to 40°C (please contact us regarding specific operating conditions).
Discover our unique concept of serial, configurable manufacturing, providing a solution tailored to every specific need. We innovate through the modularity and ergonomics of our products. Our new premises enable us to control the entire value chain, with full in-house production of our standard air dryer ranges—without compromising our agility or responsiveness.
Recently, Dessica has also developed eco-designed solutions produced in standard and configurable formats.
Example of configurable dehumidifiers
Configurable dehumidifiers are air-drying and air-treatment systems that regulate humidity levels, temperature, and dust concentration. They are specifically designed to meet the requirements of users in the building and industrial sectors. These units consist of a central module containing the desiccant wheel, along with upstream and downstream modules for the pre- and post-treatment of air during the dehumidification process.
Examples of standard air dryers
Industrial air dehumidifiers are standalone units, available in both fixed and mobile versions. They are designed to meet a wide range of requirements in the building and industrial sectors, particularly for the storage, preservation, and protection of equipment and infrastructure. The units are positioned outside the space to be conditioned and connected through dedicated ducting. DM200-1M autonomous air dryer 120 to 200 m3/h air flow

Frequently Asked Questions
Why is a dehumidifier important in industry?
The humidity causes a lot of damage in industrial environments.
How to choose an industrial air dehumidifier?
Air dryers and dehumidifiers regulate air humidity. This is why various criteria must be taken into account when choosing the right equipment.
